O2 Power SG Pte. Limited is a foreign venture capital investor registered with Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and formed under the laws of Singapore (Data Source 2, Page 30). It was jointly established by EQT Infrastructure IV and Temasek, holding 51% and 49% stakes in O2 Power, respectively (Data Sources 1 and 4). On December 27, 2024, JSW Neo Energy Limited (JSW Neo), a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 4,696 MW renewable energy platform from O2 Power. The transaction entails acquisition of SPVs O2 Power Midco Holdings Pte. Ltd. and O2 Energy SG Pte. Ltd. and is subject to approval of the Competition of India (CCI) and other customary approvals standard to a transaction of this size. It values O2 Power's RE portfolio at an Enterprise Valuation of approximately ₹12,468 crores (~ US$ 1.47 bn), after adjusting for net current assets (Data Source 3, Page 1; Data Source 4).
