SEIT is an Indian Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) established on July 20, 2023. It is jointly sponsored by Mahindra Susten Private Limited (MSPL), the renewable energy platform of the Mahindra Group, and 2726522 Ontario Limited. The latter is an affiliate of 2452991 (2OL), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board (OTPP), a leading global institutional investor (Data Source 1, Page 80; Data Source 2; Data Source 3, Page 2).
SEIT is India's largest InvIT in the renewable energy space and is listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited. It made its trading debut on January 15, 2024, with an offer size of 22.63 billion rupees ($273 million) at an issue price of 100 rupees per unit (Data Source 4).
