On 23 March 2016, Edra became a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Corporation (“CGN”) following the successful acquisition of the Edra Group operating companies and its subsidiaries. Following the acquisition, Edra Power Holdings Sdn Bhd became the new holding company for these operating companies comprising of Edra Solar Sdn Bhd, Edra Energy Sdn Bhd, Powertek Energy Sdn Bhd, Jimah Teknik Sdn Bhd, Jimah O&M Sdn Bhd and Tiara Tanah Sdn Bhd.

Tadau Energy Sdn Hbd

Subsidiary company

As of May 15, 2017, Tadau Energy had two shareholders: Kagayaki Energy Sdn Bhd , which owned 80% of the shares, and Edra Solar Sdn Bhd, which held the remaining 20% stake. Kagayaki Energy is a Malaysian renewable energy and sustainable technology investment firm. Edra Solar, a wholly owned subsidiary of Edra Power Holdings, is part of a diversified independent power producer with renewable and fossil fuel power plants. Edra Power Holdings, in turn, is a subsidiary of CGN, a Chinese energy company specializing in the construction and operation of nuclear and renewable power plants.
