In the opinion of the Board of Directors, the Group’s immediate parent company is Brown & Company PLC, which holds 42.21% of issued ordinary shares of Browns Investments PLC and ultimate parent undertaking and controlling party as at the date of financial position is LOLC Holdings PLC, a Company incorporated and domiciled in Sri Lanka.
