Ltd.(NPGCL) is a joint venture between NTPC and Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited located in Aurangabad district with capacity 1980 MW (3X660 MW, Stage I) and Proposed 3×800 MW for Stage II. A proposal has been sent to Joint Secretary (Thermal), MoP, GoI from Principal Secretary, Energy Department, GoB for installation of three units of 800MW in place of proposed 660 MW under Nabinagar Stage II by Nabinagar Power Generating Company Pvt. Ltd.
