Previously known as Sesa Goa ltd/Sesa Sterlite Ltd. The Shareholders of the Company approved the name change of the Company through Postal Ballot, results of which were announced on March 30, 2015. The name change to Vedanta Limited is now effective post issue of 'Fresh Certificate of Incorporation' issued by the Registrar of Companies, Goa, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Govt. of India.
