Novoazovskiy Wind Park was the first wind energy project in the CIS financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The loan is granted for a period of 20 years. The EBRD loan is a confirmation that the wind energy industry, which is developing in Ukraine exclusively through private investment, has great potential and is trusted by major international institutions. Novoazovsk wind park has both foreign and Ukrainian investors. Destruction of vegetation cover, powerful impact of wind farm construction on steppe habitats and initiation of erosion processes. During the implementation of the wind park, all the requirements of botanists, ornithologists, zoologists were considered to reduce the harmful impact of wind farms on the environment. Novoazovskyi Wind Park LLC is a part of one of the largest wind energy holdings in Ukraine, Wind Parks of Ukraine. The management of Novoazovsk wind park imported wind turbines free of duty.
