Like in many cases of confrontation between a peasant or indigenous community and a private or public company, two parallel process come in conflict: a process of community's boundaries demarcation, an process of land market (and natural resources merchant exploitation). Generally, the State manages both process through legal operations, and the contradiction between them is a contradiction inside the proper State. The peasant community is not a homogeneous entity, but a fragile configuration of differentiated groups which have not the same actitude facing the litigation.
