El proyecto de la Planta Eólica Lekela BOO incluye la instalación de 96 turbinas Siemens-Gamesa de 2.6 MW cada una. Estas turbinas tienen una altura de buje de 63 metros y un diámetro de rotor de 120 metros. La infraestructura del proyecto abarca una subestación y una red de caminos de acceso al sitio. Además, el proyecto incluye una línea de transmisión aérea de 220 kV y 30 km de longitud, gestionada por la Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC).
