The Grande Mayumba Development Company (GMDC) operates an eco-tourism business, African Equatorial Safaris, which is developing an eco-lodge at Petit Loango in Loango National Park. Additionally, GMDC has partnered with Corà Wood Gabon (CWG) to form African Equatorial Hardwoods (AEH), a joint venture that combines GMDC's forestry resources with CWG's industrial expertise. This partnership provides AEH access to over 400,000 hectares of forestry concessions, enhancing its role in Gabon's timber industry (deal 5032).
