The company partners with the Government of Gabon through various business entities, such as the Grande Mayumba Agriculture Company for agricultural activities and the Grande Mayumba Port and Services Company for infrastructure projects. The Grande Mayumba Development Company (GMDC) is a public-private partnership between the Gabonese State and SFM Africa, with SFM Africa holding 66% at the start and the State holding 34%. SFM is working on a 250,000-hectare forest concession within the GMDC project area.
