Pollution of river water.
The crops of the people in the village was destroyed when the company started using bulldozers. Community members who did not accept the offer of the company was still evicted. There are conflicts in areas where they have already planted with palm oil that is still being claimed by the community. The head of the village has been accused of harvesting in his own land and was arrested without proper procedure.
Since the company's arrival, communities, and women in particular, have faced violent incidents, criminalization and harassment. Strong resistance also emerged, mostly led by women. A resistance speaking with one united voice: lands must be returned to the traditional care-taker
