In mid-2007, the Privatization Agency sold a 40.9% stake in PIK Becej for EUR 12.3 million to a consortium comprising local investment company Irva Investicije and British Virgin Islands-based Forum Absolute Return Fund. In17 December 2015 MK Group acquired Agricultural Combine (PIK) Bečej for 45.5 million EUR.

The operating company was founded in 1959 with the merger of a few agricultural and industrial enterprises, accordingly was operational before the new investor arrival.

(1) In 2020, the operating company donated 45 tons of food to 10,000 households in 20 cities and municipalities, which contributed to the fight against the covid pandemic. In addition, it donated 200,000 dinars to the municipality of Becej for the purchase of necessary medical equipment and humanitarian package. (2) PIK Becej voluntarily maintained the "Fantast" castle - the cultural and historical heritage of the state of Serbia -, supposedly planned until the end of the restitution procedure. In the last 5 years, around 250,000 euros have been invested annually in the functioning of the palace complex "Fantast" and its accessibility to the public.
