Although there is no resettlement, there was still farmland and paddy field were occupied due to construction of permanent and temporary camps, quarries and access road. According to the EIA report, in the reservoir area, the paddy fields and farmland of seven villages consisted of 493 households with total 3172 were affected by this project. While in the downstream, there were impacts on water use and local irrigation system of 10 villages. It was also reported that some affected people have not yet received compensation for the loss of their agricultural land (due to the flooding-because of the water-releasing from this dam) Source: CDM & EIA monitoring report
