According the monitoring report of EIA implementation in 2018, 3 villages (Dakbou, Souksavang and Tangkeu villages) consisted of 163 households with total 815 people were resettled. About 14 villages around reservoir and downstream with total 471 households were reported that they would be compensated around 1,000 USD per household. [Source: Monitoring report of EIA]

In the upstream of reservoir area, more than 14,980 ha of forest area were flooded (included the wildlife habitat and Dong Ampham conservation area 1). More than 339 ha of forest area in the downstream area was affected, the decline of fish species, hydrological change [Source: Probe International & M report 2018]
