Chipwi HPP is the fifth cascade HPP planned on the main stream of the Maykha River. Its dam site is about 150 km from Myitkyina City and about 10 km from Chipwi Village.
The dam site is on the N’mai River at Mandung village, ten miles from the town of Chibwe, Kachin State
