In terms of company shares, a source indicates, "Myanmar’s Ministry of Electric Power (MOEP) owns 15% of ACHC and one of Myanmar’s largest business groups, Asia World Company (AWC), owns 5%. CPI Yunnan International Power Investment Company Ltd has the remaining 80% shareholding. This combination allows ACHC to create valuable, long-term assets that, after fifty years of operation, will become 100% Myanmar-owned."
