Earlier reports indicated a plan for 10,000 hectares: "The director of the Arab-African Center announced that the Arab organization has allocated one billion dollars for agricultural investment, utilizing 10,000 hectares in each province, Tiaret and Ghardaïa." Specifically, 5,000 hectares in Tiaret were designated for the production of cereals and fodder. Another report mentions that the project aims to cultivate grains and fodder on 7,000 hectares in Tiaret Province, Algeria.

AAAID evaluates the feasibility studies of the greenfield projects submitted by promoters or by existing companies. This project was part of the evaluations in 2018. No new information about the potential project.
