They alleged breaches of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, including the non-payment of bonuses, pensions, and risk allowances.

In the area of the Plantations Socfinaf Ghana Limited (PSG) project, specifically within the former Subri Industrial Plantation, displacements of local communities have been reported due to the expansion of rubber and oil palm plantations. Investigations have pointed to PSG's operations as being responsible for the destruction of tropical forests, directly impacting indigenous and local communities.
