Corruption: At least 11 cases involving plots of land purchased by the fund were subject to an official investigation by Romanian state prosecutors and anti-corruption authorities. Centre for Investigative Journalism and De Correspondent, found that amongst Rabo Farm’s leaseholders are included powerful politicians; individuals on suspended sentences; and local oligarchs with strong connections to a corrupt officials.
