The two farms in Uige (#5016) and Malanje (#5017) are only pilot projects. The company is negotiating with the Angolan government to open another 30,000-hectare farm in the central Bie province to plant rice with financial support of Chinese banks. The farms are serving as a showcase of modern agriculture in Angola.
