.The land was acquired by Union Agriculture Group between 2009 and 2011 . In the whole Region 1, UAG has 22146 hectares between Cerro Largo (2666 has in production) and Rivera (15693 hectares in production). In Rivera are these farms (hectares in production): San Francisco - 6716 has (acquired 2009) La Pradera - 5010 has (acquired 2011) Sarmento - 980 has (acquired 2011) San Luis - 2987 has (acquired 2010)
