The project aims to improve the overall productivity of Senegal’s western and central cultivated lands, by developing Jatropha curcas plantations. The plantations are foreseen to cover a total area of 1411 hectares of degraded soils mainly in the surroundings of the cities of Ourour and Kaffrine.
