In August 2017, FGV pledged to halt peat forest clearance by its subsidiary PT Citra Niaga Perkasa (PT CNP). It also pledges to rehabilitate peat land developed after August 25, 2016, when FGV first adopted its Sustainability Policy. An abstract of a study on PT Citra Niaga Perkasa, identified that the company has a positive effect on Sebangki Village, Sebangki District, Landak Regency but the whole study is not available so no specifications was found.
