Even though the area is located in protected forest land massive logging activities started soon after. A road was logged, connecting Think Biotech’s concession and the limestone mine – timber transports were sighted. It can be assumed that there is some form of arrangement between KP Cement and Think Biotech, where illegally logged timber from the former is processed by the latter, building some form of laundering operation
