Exact numbers are not known as there are no official reports. The EIA states 2500 direct jobs. The company is going through the difficulties and are retrenching workers-as the company believes they are overstaffed.In 2014, 103 workers from the surrounding communities were fired. Most of the jobs created for the local communities are daily jobs with no job security. There are disputes over the pay offered for local communities.
