With its first plantation subsidiary (PT Mustika Sembuluh) in Seruyan District, the PPB Group has been active in Central Kalimantan since 2000. The Group acquired several more concession areas in 2003 and 2004, while in the latter half of 2005 it took over 9 plantation companies with undeveloped land, and also embarked into a major expansion of PT Mustika Sembuluh.
