Was part of Mpongwe Development Corporation, the farm was initially privatised in 1995 when it was bought out by CDC. This estate was managed by a group of Danish farmers with financial support from the IDU between 2006 and 2013.The farm changed ownership in 2013 to Chayton Africa.
