Although most of the employees are Colombian, the inhabitants close to the Cargill complex assert that the workers of the company do not come from the area. According to some interviews described in the Oxfam report, the workers come mostly from Antioquia and the Pacific Coast, several hundreds of kilometers away from where the plantations are located.
