Failed jatropha cultivation was replaced with maize for animal feed and geranium for essential oil production. In the areas of Satrokala, Andiolava, and Ambatolahy, Tozzi Green cultivates a mix of food and industrial crops. These include maize, sorghum, cassava, peanut, bambara groundnut, and soybean for local consumption, as well as geranium for essential oil production and jatropha for biofuel. The company also implements agroforestry plots with species like moringa and mulberry, intercropped with food crops, as part of its land restoration and carbon offset strategies.
