privatised in 2000, (owns five plantations and 4 oil factories), SOCFIN through its subsidiary PalmCalm. The Bolloré group controls at least 80% of the palm oil production in Cameroon via this project. Another source states that SOCFIN own 50% of shares. Proparco provided CFA1.5 billion to Socapalm in 2009 to extend milling capacity and rejuvenate plantations.
