Comment on electricity generation

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Laos said that the first phase will go into operation in the fourth quarter of 2025. The governments of Laos and Vietnam have an agreement to import electricity by 2025 about 3,000 MW and by 2030 is about 5,000 MW. As of the end of October, the Prime Minister approved the policy of importing electricity from power sources in Laos with a total capacity of 10 MW.

According to the interview with local people in Xaichamphone district, they told that all of electricity will export to Vietnam not for domestic use.
