The project had no gender action plan, but it included gender and development measures to promote equal access to job opportunities and training in the land acquisition and ethnic minority development plan (LAEMDP). Key achievements include that (i) 800 unskilled job opportunities during construction 8 were provided to local residents, of which 300 (37.5%) are women; (ii) 37 local residents worked in CGN-DSE as permanent employees, of which 10 low-skilled positions are provided to women, accounting for 27%; and (iii) among the participants in training on grassland management and household financial management, 45% and 56% were women, respectively.” Source: adb.org
