The 54-megawatt San Lorenzo Wind Farm is the first of its kind in the Visayas region, stretching up to 14 kilometers, which makes it one of the largest wind farms in Southeast Asia. The farm comprises 27 wind turbines, each standing approximately 123 meters tall and generating around 2 megawatts of power. This totals to 54 megawatts of renewable energy production. The farm began operating in 2014 and has been supplying renewable energy to Western Visayas, Negros, and Cebu. In addition to serving as a renewable energy source, the farm has also become a popular tourist attraction in the province.
