The local community of Tanglad, Sibunag, Guimaras Wind Farm is working with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources for the Arboretum Project, a program that will convert a 27-hectare woodland into a “learning forest”. In total, over 6,000 trees were planted in the forest with the objective to be an educational resource for students where they can observe the fauna and explore its symbiotic relationship with the land.
