MonteSol, one of three key solar farms of ACEN located in Negros province, is situated in Barangay Tamisu, Bais City, Negros Oriental, Philippines. This solar farm has an installed capacity of 18 MW and plays role in supplying sustainable daytime peak power to the Visayas grid. By operating efficiently, MonteSol avoids 16,000 MT of CO2e emissions annually, equivalent to powering 6,000 homes. MonteSol, the first solar farm in Negros Oriental, was installed in just over 2.5 months, or 80 days, from "first pile in" to commissioning and energization, achieving "first power out" in record time.
