During the construction phase of the Loeriesfontein Wind Farm, it is estimated that 569 new jobs will be created over a period of 2 years. Of these, 313 jobs will be local, 220 from other parts of South Africa, and 36 from abroad. The jobs will mostly be distributed among unskilled positions (72%), followed by semi-skilled (25%) and skilled (3%) positions. The estimated duration of these jobs amounts to 1,138 person-years, considering the 2-year construction period.
