The database is updated monthly (on the 1st of each month).

The Angelim quilombola territory is officially located in the municipality of Conceição da Barra (according to data from the Palmares Foundation). However, much of the news, as well as academic research, indicate that this territory spans the municipalities of São Mateus and Conceição da Barra. Both municipalities make up the Quilombola territory of Sapê do Norte.
