The operating company of the project was S.C. CERNAVODA POWER S.R.L. However, all subsidiaries of EDP Renovaveis SA in Romania were consolidated into one SC EDP Renewables Romania SRL. EBRD and IFC lent €57.4 million each to Cernavoda Power SA, majority-owned by EDP Renováveis, to finance the construction and operation of the wind farms.
