The preparatory works for Project started in October 2009. These works included top soil stripping and localised vegetation clearance in the vicinity of the construction compounds, access roads and the turbine footprints. The civil works have finished in Cernavoda I and II Wind Farm in December 2010.
Connection to the national grid of Cernavoda I WF was in February 2011 and of Cernavoda II WF in September 2011
