In 2016, Cookhouse launched its Early Childhood Development (ECD) Flagship programme with the objective of ensuring that the beneficiary ECD centres were in a position to provide quality childcare and education for children from age 0 to 6. Over 2 500 children have benefitted from the Early Childhood Development since it was launched in July 2016.The program has supported 28 ECD centers, trained 47 practitioners, and provided essential resources.
