The project 'Badamsha-I Wind Farm' originates from an agreement, signed in June 2017 by Eni, General Electric (GE) and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to develop renewable projects in the country.

Comment on implementation status

The construction works started in December 2018. The first wind turbine generator of Badamsha was successfully energized on 18 December 2019. In March 2020, the first phase of the project was fully put into operation, and the second phase in 2022.
