The community expressed various concerns and suggestions during the consultations. Challenges mentioned included low agricultural productivity, limited access to agricultural inputs, a lack of health centers, and the absence of safe drinking water, especially for those temporarily living in the reserve. However, the community also expressed positive expectations about the economic development opportunities and improved livelihoods the project could bring, such as job creation and training in improved farming practices.

The project provides several benefits to the communities, including job creation on the plantations and opportunities for intercropping in designated areas. Food security will be improved through agroforestry systems and better agricultural practices. Additionally, training in modern farming techniques will help increase crop yields and household incomes. Community development initiatives, such as beekeeping for honey production, will also be promoted, aiming to boost economic well-being and reduce pressure on the reserve's natural resources.
