The company's site selection process for projects typically avoids indigenous peoples' land or areas and none of the subprojects owned by the company are located on indigenous peoples' land. Hence related issues and impacts are not envisaged.

ADB PDS of project stipulates that the company buys or leases lands for its projects. " Land is purchased through negotiated settlement with individual landowners, and in some cases leased from existing solar park estates on a long-term basis, on mutually agreed terms."

The respective project sites have been selected in such a manner that it does not involve any vulnerable community land and no displacement of people (including indigenous people). [ADB, 2020]

"We did not have any significant negative impact on local communities at any of our locations and there were no cases of physical or economic displacement of local people at any of our project sites" - ADB EIA Report

ADB reports state that the local community was consulted either buying or leasing agreements amongst local land owners

AADB EIA 2020-2021 report stated that a total of 125 land plots had been acquired, including the payment as well
