The Lekela BOO Wind Power Plant project is owned by Lekela Power BV, a joint venture between Infinity Power and Masdar. The project was financed through a combination of equity investment from shareholders and debt provided by Absa Corporate and Investment Banking (Absa CIB) and the Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB). Additionally, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) provided an A loan of approximately 25 million USD, along with an additional mobilization of approximately 57 million USD under its Managed Co-Lending Portfolio Program​.
Infinity Power Holding B.V. is a joint venture registered in the Netherlands, composed of Infinity from Egypt and Masdar from the United Arab Emirates. This ownership structure is supported by third-party investments, including the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Lekela Power BV, a subsidiary of Infinity Power, was acquired to operate and manage renewable energy projects across Africa, significantly expanding Infinity Power's portfolio in wind and solar energy.
