Issues with verifying land size. Inca One company website says the project is 3,700 hectares, and is the company’s “principal asset”. The issue is about the surfaces of land controled by Bionor and its partners in Guatemala. The expansion of agrofuels in Guatemala is promoted by State and BID (which is giving credits), and provokes according to the RALLT report (and Guatemalan peasant organizations) infringements against local populations' rights and territorial expulsions. A lot of old haciendas (with their abusing traditional practices) are being converted into transnational capital's local partners for this agrofuels expansion.
