Kiryandongo district COVID-19 taskforce has urged the management of Kiryandongo sugar limited to employ health workers and set up a facility to manage cases with in the factory. This followed the outbreak of COVID-19 among the workers of Kiryandongo sugar limited with two confirmed cases which prompted the taskforce to visit the factory to assess the level of infection prevention and control measures.The labourforce at the factory has been reduced to 313 workers in two shifts to avoid crowding which exposes them to COVID19.
