In 2009 Cresud Sacifya was the Argentine's biggest agricultural company by market value. In 2011, Cresud plans to expand its operations in neighboring Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil. In 2010 the company paid US$ 76 million to increase its stake to 36% in BrasilAgro. Last week, the Argentine company has agreed to cooperate with the largest agricultural company in China. The Heilongjiang Beidahuang Nongken Group hit with Cresud joint venture to buy land for soybeans in South America.
