AcquisitionsDuring 2010 MHP aggressively expanded its grain growing business, resulting in an increase in the total amount of land under the Company’s control to more than 280.000 hectares. Mostly new lands are located close to existing grain growing facilities in Cherkassy and Vinnnitsa region in Central Ukraine with favourable climate conditions. Also MHP expanded its grain growing activity entering into two new regions of Ukraine – Sumy and Khmelnytsky. A signifi cant part of the newly acquired entities contained an established grain growing business. p.31
