CHC was acquired by the English institutional investment group Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC), following the privatization in 1996 of the western block of the Domaine Hévéicole de l'Etat (DHE).In 2007, confident in the future of the country, SIAT carried out, in time of war and therefore in the midst of uncertainty, a direct investment of 20 billion FCFA to which 4 billion were immediately added, with the aim of developing productive device. In addition, the CHC continues to invest nearly 2 billion FCFA annually.
